The challenge in creating a DC neighborhood heritage trail is deciding what to include. The trail must be walkable, include a metro stop, and be continuous. Each marker must describe points within eyesight of the sign. With a limit of 18 markers, the community working group struggled to create a route that would incorporate the most significant history of the area. The following map shows the route constructed as of April 2008. Until the markers are installed, this route is subject to change and your comments are welcome.
